Privacy policy — Trade Dispatch Tech

This page describes data handling for the Trade Dispatch Tech mobile app. It is not a shop checkout page.

What the app stores on the device

Trade Dispatch Tech stores the shop WordPress URL you choose, your shop username, and a WordPress Application Password in the device secure store. It may also cache assigned jobs, notes, and queued photos for offline use. Sign out clears local credentials and caches for that shop.

Where job data goes

The app talks to the business WordPress site you connect (Trade Dispatch Pro on that site). Job photos, status updates, and optional location stamps are sent to that shop. There is no separate Trade Dispatch cloud account for technicians beyond what that shop stores.

Camera and location

Camera access is used to capture before, after, and damage photos for assigned jobs. Location is used only when geo-tagging a photo or opening navigation to a job address. Permissions are requested in context, not on first launch.

Sign in with Apple

On iOS you can Sign in with Apple instead of a shop username and website password. Apple authenticates you and the selected shop verifies Apple’s identity token using Apple’s public keys. The shop may receive your name, email (or an Apple Hide My Email address), and Apple’s user identifier so it can create or link a WordPress crew account on that shop. Sign in with Google

On Android you can Sign in with Google instead of a shop username and website password. Google authenticates you and the selected shop verifies Google’s identity token using Google’s public keys. The shop may receive your name, verified email, and Google user identifier so it can create or link a WordPress crew account on that shop. The app then stores an Application Password for that shop account. Job photos and customer data are not sent to Google. Google’s privacy: policies.google.com/privacy · Google terms.

Account deletion

In Settings, Delete my account asks the connected shop to revoke Application Passwords and mark the WordPress account for deletion per that shop’s process. After success, the app signs out and clears local data.

Crash diagnostics

If crash reporting is enabled in a production build, technical diagnostics may be sent without customer names, addresses, gate codes, phone numbers, or Application Passwords.
